Yum Yum Cha Gurgaon - An Asian Delight - 4.5/5

h wow is how I want to sum up my meal experience at Yum Yum Cha Gurgaon. My dinner last night was nothing short of my best Asian meal experience. This was the first time I literally walked up to the chef and thanked him for the extrodinary meal.

Located in cyber hub this outlet is quite quirky and colorful. The menu is great, the prices are fine and the service is quick and spotless. The place has all the ingredients needed for a successful restaurant.

We ordered both the Thai green and red curries. The Thai red and Thai green curries were by far the best I have tasted. The red curry somehow over shone and stole my heart. The truffled Mushroom bao and crystal veg dimsums were delightful. The service was quick and the entire meal experience was divine. Still in a Thai curry hangover. I give them an 11/10 for the Thai curries. I only regret not having enough appetite left for the mochi ice cream. definitely next time.
Strongly recommend the place to one and all.

Takamaka Golf Course Road Gurgaon - very sad place - 2/5

Built on a cruise ship theme this is a fairly new addition to the brewery bunch on golf course road. The ambiance and live music is superb. But the food and service are a downer.

The menu is the usual bar food with Indian and some western dishes. They also have a brewey which is quite sad. We tried the wheat beer which was too yeasty, the sangria was adulterated and it had too much juice.

The corn and cheese nuggets seemed to be straight out of a Mc Cann's packet. The veg fried basket was another My Cann creation with cheese and corn nuggets, potato wedges and just potato poppers . The aam ka achaar flavoured paneer shashlik was average and had no taste of aam ka achaar pickle.

We skipped the mains since the starters were a flop show. The Tiramisu on the house was disastrous. The service is slightly sluggish and the food fizzles out. Takamaka - Cruise Nightlife Brewpub is a no no I say

Cafe Delhi Heights - Janpath New Delhi - 3.5/5

Cafe Delhi heights has usually always been jinxed for me. But today I was pleasantly surprised.

Was in CP catching up with a friend and she recommended that we visit cafe delhi heights for some pasta and pizza. Located on level 2 on janpath near Saravana bhavan this outlet is a bit smaller as compared to the usual CDH outlets.

The ambiance is the same and so is the menu. The staff is a bit lost though but that has been my usual experience with them. We ordered a spaghetti Arabbiatta , a veg pizza, a mushroom soup and some potato wedges. The food was good, hot and fresh. The spaghetti stood out and was fab, so was the mushroom soup. The service was fast yet the staff is a bit rough around the edges and quite untrained. Eg you never carry and give cutlery to the guest with bare hands, Ist rule of service).

The entire food was good and portions dont disappoint. Even though the CP outlet is a bit cramped but the food makes up for that. Thumbs up.
