Located in Cyber Hub where once Zambar was, Tappa is from the same umbrella from the house of Zambar. Tappa has all the ingredients you need for success in Delhi / NCR. It has a moderately priced Indian menu, decently priced alcohol, decent ambiance, food as it should be coupled with decent service as well. So there is no reason why this business model should fail.
We had a client dinner at Tappa a few weeks ago and we got a great deal. We got about 1167/- AI per head for 4V+4NV Snacks + 3V & 2NV Mains + Breads, salads, steam rice, Raita and one dessert. We were 15 of us and we did take advantage of the happy hour as well.
For food we had Paneer Tikka, Dahi Kebabs, Crispy Baby corn and tandoori aaloo. Amongst the Veg snacks the Dahi Kebabs really stood out and were outstanding. The others were ok. For Mains the Dal Makhani was fabulous and so was the butter Chicken. Just that the dessert - Paan ice cream was below average.
Service was patchy. It was ok in between and at some points became slow. We had to sometimes wait for the starters to arrive for a longish time. But over all the evening turned out well. Everyone enjoyed the food and the bill did not even pinch.
Recommend you visit Tappa especially to take advantage of such a group deal.
