Juicy Lucy was the sole reason that CafĂ© delhi heights was so close to my heart. And it is only because of the Cyber hub that I may have to part ways with my darling Juicy Lucy. Its sad that sometimes your favourite restaurant chain’s staff can treat you like dirt and make you feel like an insect so much so that the mistreating can lead to you swearing never to return to even eat your most prized favorite food item ever.
Last Friday we were at work, and had gotten bored to the core, so we decided to go to CDH and grab a Lucy each before heading home. So we went to Cyber hub and as soon as we entered we decided to sit in the seating which is the second half of the seating ie. the inside seating, as we could see a couple of tables vacant. There was this guy from their service team, he didn’t let us enter and said we must sit in the outside seating as there was no space inside. Actually, it wasn’t what he said, actually it was the way he said it which was hurtful, insulting and humiliating beyond comprehension. I felt as though there was a signage that read dogs and people who don’t look good enough to sit inside not allowed.
Not in the mood to argue, we quietly sat outside and ordered mocktails and snacks. During the entire time the way food was brought to our table and the way the guy was being discourteous, I felt that even a Dhaba waiter would have been more courteous probably. It seemed as though food was being dumped on the table with the server giving us such looks as though we were having a free meal.
Even though the Strawberry soda and the minty soda were nice and so were the vegetable and chicken, we got up post this shabby treatment and left only to go to Nando's. Never have I as a paying customer been subjected to such humiliation and so much insult. I am definitely not going back to CDH cyber hub ever again.
