Trendy, young, catchy, contemporary, stylish, chic and well! I am running out of adjectives. Prankster is here to stay. For those who follow what I write I am sure you guys would agree that I don’t praise restaurants for nothing. And using a bag full of adjectives for prankster while I write this review does in no way imply that I am high. Having already visited this place twice in the last one month, this place is quite the crowd puller not only because of its trendy theme but also because of the food. I would rather say that the place is a complete package.
Who does not love to remember their child hood days especially the days when one was a part of some campus. Prankster takes that campus theme to another level and delivers an end product which is a clear winner. The place is pretty huge spread on the Ist floor of the sector 29 market. Even though Parking can be a bit tricky in the evenings. Other than that this place ensures you have fun to the fullest. I love the trendy, youthful interiors based on the campus theme right from having a Library style seating to a classroom and a hostel room styled seating and even a chemistry lab styled seating. I love what the interior designer has done with the space and made the place superbly trendy. Who would have thought of scooter parking styled and bunker bed styled seating. The interiors and ambiance simply sweep you off your feet.
The menu has very interesting fusion food options that are very unique and hard to imagine, yet please your taste buds. Dishes like a Thai curry flavored Water chestnut Kulcha or a Pav bhaji Zinger or even the much talked about Lychee Tikka are superb gastronomic innovations that leave a lasting impression on your palate. The pricing of both the food and alcohol menu is very competitive and does not pinch your pocket. The music is very trendy and peppy ensuring you have a great time. The serving staff ensures you are taken care with the utmost hospitality and courtesy.
I organised a team cocktail dinner at Prankster last month which was a hit and went last night with a group of friends and had a fantastic time. I enjoyed each dish I tasted whether it was my mock-tail or the lychee tikka’s, the superb lamb chops, the melt in your mouth Dahi kebabs, the Crisp Egyptian Pizza the Fattir, and my favorite water chestnut Kulcha and not to miss the glamorously presented Rose Kheer. For So much food THE BILL WAS ONLY ABOUT 3400/-
I can go on and on about the place, and never stop because I am truly enamored and recommend that you ought to pay Prankster a visit soon. You will love the theme and definitely come back for the food.
