Once Upon a time : Hotel Green Park, Visakhapatnam - Disappointing

A buffet restaurant where you can dig into an all you can eat buffet at a very affordable price and the story ends at that. I would say this restaurant is a buffet restaurant where you can eat all you want but you must come leaving your taste buds at home. Located very centrally in the Vizag main city I had heard raving reviews  about this place so while I was in Visag I sadly chose this place for my Birthday dinner only to get disappointed. 

Located at the Lobby level once upon a time seems to be a place encouraging cheap eats in a 4 star environment which itself is a fatal combination and a sure shot recipe for disaster. The buffet has quite a variety though both in vegetarian and non vegetarian dishes but the food lacks the most important characteristic which is taste. The food lacks soul. It seems the chefs have prepared something edible in a hurry to be eaten by prisoners of central jail.

The decor is very plain and the staff is clueless. The staff asked us if we wanted appetisers. There were only 2 veg and 2 non veg appetisers, and post 1-2 helpings of appetizers noone seemed to be bothered to clear the clutter of plates, soup bowls, salad plates etc that kept piling on our table.

The presentation of the chicken Biryani was good but still it lacked the flavour of a true Hyderabadi Biryani. Vegetarian dishes were quite passable and desserts were a disaster. 

I will never recommend this place because the place  neither serves good food nor has great service. so I think its better if you give this one a pass.
