I do like the place for the vibe, and the Sangria, but lets face it, food is pretty average.
Located at the entrance of Cyber hub, The Wine company is loosing clientele as we speak, especially the people who go out to eat good food. I am not sure if I ordered all the wrong things to eat since my meal left me craving for more.
The ambiance is very nice and romantic with a dim lighting and good music, but the service is slow and lousy. The menu is ok and has decent options but not too great ones. We ordered Apple and Cinnamon Sangria, a portion of Olives, Karari Roti, crostini and cottage cheese balls.
The service was a little slow and the dishes kept arriving slightly late, since we kept finishing the Sangria & waiting for food. Nonetheless, we wrapped up our evening. The karari roti was a nice surprise and exciting. The crostini was above average and had gotten cold when it arrived and the cottage cheese balls were decent. The olives were very disappointing. Seemed like the cheapest quality of olives being used, hence were tasteless.
The bill wasn't much but we knew it was just an average evening. Overall, the wine company is just a place you can go and drink and enjoy some bar food.
