Well, Toblerone happens to be my favourite chocolate for obvious reasons. And I had the bright idea to make some chocolate mousse using my favourite brand of chocolate. And yes toblerone does add a unique flavour to the chocolate mousse. This is my version of the recipe, I know this recipe is not an authority on the authentic mousse recipe, but this is my version. So guys, enjoy the tolberone mousse with your loved ones whenever u make it and dont remember to say I love you Sam when everyone complements u for this awesome superfast dessert
You Need
1. One big bar toblerone chocolate-400g; you could use normal dark chocolate as well if your not comfortable using toblerone because it happens to contain egg
2. Heat very small amount of water in a bowl, hot enough but remember it doesn't boil
3. Put the bowl with the chocolate pieces on the bowl with water, while the flame is still on
4. Keep stirring with a spatula till the chocolate melts completely; do not let the water boil, you could turn the heat off if you want. Ensure the steam does not enter the chocolate or the mix will curdle and your final product will go bad
5. While still on the flame, add some 100 g unsalted butter in the chocolate and keep stirring
6. Keep stirring until the butter melts and blends completely with the chocolate & ensure, there are no lumps of chocolate left in the mousse. Cool the chocolate mix at least for 15 minutes
7. While the chocolate mix is cooling down ,take some fresh cream about 250 ml and beat with either a hand blender or a manual simple egg beater until smooth
8. Blend in the cream in the chocolate butter mix, blend for about 5 minutes
9. Now refrigerate the mix at-least for 3 hours or until set
10. Grate some chocolate flakes on top when set and serve chilled.
