Great ambiance and Good music is the only USP of this place. Located in sec 29 I had huge hopes from this place when I decided to visit them today.
The ambiance is nice with classy fancy lighting and comfortable seating. Spread across two floors they have a decent number of covers and a huge bar. But looks can be deceptive like they say.
Their other outlets in CP and Nehru place had created quite the buzz so I visited them at Gurgaon today and the place fell flat on its face and failed to impress with the food and drinks.
We were 3 of us and we ordered a pomegranate cooler and specified NO ice despite that we got an ice loaded drink. Servers are either callous or not paying attention. I ordered a Sangria which was unadulterated yet not how Sangria is supposed to taste.
Tasted the wheat and other brews from the beer taster and did not taste anything impressive.
The mushroom salad was nice with a decent portion. The Greek salad was everything but Greek salad. The description of the salad on the menu read feta but I know feta is expensive so the chef decided to save the owner some money and put like 2 drops of feta. The paneer Tikka was the saddest and the most unappetizing paneer Tikka I have ever had. The Bruschetta was also average. No wonder we decided to skip the mains.
The in-house DJ was good and played great foot tapping numbers and that was the only highlight of the evening. The place was a complete waste of my hard earned money.
