Eat at the Ozo Colombo is one of the finest Coffee Shops in the city serving some scrumptious food. Located at the Ist floor at the Ozo hotel this place has some great views of the Colombo coast line. As you sit by the window sipping your Ceylon tea you wonder life couldn't be better. I was staying twice at the Ozo on two of my Srilankan vacations and I not only enjoyed my stay at the Ozo, I also became a huge fan of their food.
The Eat restaurant at the Ozo in Colombo has one of the most lavish buffet breakfasts in the city. I mean the buffet is gynormous. The variety is crazy and the food is crazy delicious. I absolutely loved the overnight soaked museli in milk and I loved to combine it with some fresh nuts and some nice apricots. The chef at the Ozo does some delicious waffles and they taste delicious with some jam and chocolate sauce.
The portobello mushrooms go so so well with the crisp hashbrowns and you get that feeling of absolute bliss. The breakfast rolls are nice and fresh especially the croissants and chocolate danish.
They also have on some occasions a lavish sea food dinner buffet which is such a treat if you love sea food. A great variety of international fish dishes and some local srilankan curry specialties as well.
SO when in Colombo you must not stay elsewhere and you must definitely eat only at Eat at the Ozo in Colombo, definitely a must visit.
