So there I was browsing the net for some interesting food items when I encountered Chef’s basket on http://www.chefsbasket.in and the stuff they sell on-line. The best part is that the pricing is so attractive. You have the luxury to have a fine dine meal in the convenience of your home with a recipe kit containing authentic imported ingredients hand-picked for the recipes. You can buy their stuff on-line on Amazon and on various retail stores across Maharashtra and Bangalore. And what's awesome is that you can order a Fusilli to Burritos to Penne to Thai noodles recipe kits to what not. I ordered a Creamy Tomato in Penne recipe kit for myself.
The recipe kit arrived and oh wow! it contained all the ingredients - Pasta, Extra Virgin olive oil for sauteeing the veggies, mixed herbs, pitted Olives and even the rock salt to boil the pasta and the awesome Pasta sauce. The only thing I added was garlic and some fresh Veggies after boiling and sauteeing to my Penne.
I followed the simple instructions mentioned at the back of the recipe box and there it was a beautiful pasta with awesome veggies and a fabulous red sauce. I especially loved the convenience of not having worked hard to blanch and purée so many tomatoes to make a sauce.
