LMB - Laxmi mishthan Bhandar - Pink city Jaipur 3.5/5

Post my Hawa Mahal trip on my Rajasthan Road trip we were starving and we headed to LMB or Laxmi Mishthan Bhandar which is a famous landmark in Johri Bazar. You can munch on the famous Rajasthani sweets like Ghevar and savory items like Kachaudi, Mirchi Vada and even Daal Baati or Rajasthani Thali. We hogged to our hearts fill and headed back to the hotel.

The place is legendary and in existance since the 18th century. You can definitely cannot miss savoring the delights at LMB while in jaipur. Located in the centre of Johri Bazar the place is huge and has a gigantic amount of seating but is completely packed most of the time. I am so so sure that the place is a hit amongst all age groups and sections of the society in Jaipur, especially tourists.

Having heard so much about the food at LMB I was super excited and wanted to order almost every single item from the menu. The server came and took our orders of a Lassi and Kachaudi and ofcourse Ras malai, how could I resist that.

I was heart broken to know that Pyaz kachaudi was not available so I had Dal kachaudi, Potato Chop or Tikya instead and a Glass of Lassi and Ras Malai. What intrigued me was the presence of Chinese, south Indian and continental items on the menu. It was actually quite funny to see that they have tried to make LMB a multi cuisine restaurant. Even though the menu also captures loads of authentic Rajasthani delights one cannot ignore the fact that its hilarious seeing the presence of other cuisine specialities.

Every thing I had was great including the Tikya and the lassi. Service is decent and so is the pricing. So if you are a tourist in Jaipur like me or even if you are a local LMB is worth every moment you spend here.
