Jimmy's World Kitchen- Wembly, London - 1.5/5

Jimmy’s is London’s unlimited all you can eat Buffet restaurant and seems as though one is eating inside the cafeteria of a prison. One of the sloppiest meal experiences of Food across cuisines in the Cosmopolitan city of London, A place where you wouldn't expect to run into food so mediocre. This chain of Buffet restaurant's has a number of outlets across UK.

The outlet I visited was at wembley stadium and in the mall located just adjacent to the stadium. Honestly I found Jimmy’s pretty chaotic. Even though they have loads of food from a vast number of cuisines on offer from Italian to Chinese to Mexican to obviously Indian cuisine, they live a true example of "Quantity does not promise Quality". There is soup, starters, salads, mains and ofcourse a dessert bar. They even have a live pasta counter, a live taco counter and Chinese counters and live dosa counters yet they fall flat on their face in terms of quality and taste.

The area of the place is huge and I assume the place has more than a 100 covers, but the service is sad, and I am sure you would have eaten better food even in your college hostel cafeteria's. Prepared food is laid down on counters for hours whether its Pizza's  and even Indian dishes especially pakoda’s, tikka’s get cold and soggy and really really unappetizing in such a state. The staff is clueless and food seems to be prepared as a formality. The quantity of food may be huge but quality is certainly missing. Pricing is also fairly ok for about 11-12 pounds for an unlimited all you can eat buffet, but the food lacks on the most important aspect – Taste and esthetics.

Even though the place is packed and always full, but it seems that the people who visit get attracted due to low pricing and certainly not taste and these people certain do not care if the food served is tasteless. What is even sad is that I hear the place is co-owned by a fellow Indian gentleman.

Even though I had items like a beef steak, pizza's, sushi, Taco's and even Kebab's, but did not enjoy my meal at all. The prepared Pizza's had become soggy, the sushi was just ok, the Tikka's had become hard and the Steak was tasteless. The only thing worth remembering were the flapjack's in the entire elaborate meal. The great looking strawberry mousse was pathetic too.

In short a below average meal. It really makes me sad when food is not prepared with love. The chef's could have done wonders with so much food, yet they fail miserably or may be they did not try in the first place. Eat here only if you must.
