Sam @ The Pasta Bowl Company - 4/5

They say big things come in small packages, and I completely stand by this statement. I first discovered Pintxo in the DLF Phase 4 market and now the Pasta Bowl company. It was a rainy lazy afternoon, and it was really clouded and dark for a summer day when me and my husband visited Pasta Bowl company by chance. I do believe in luck by chance, and this is how I savoured the great food at this bistro. We had entered Ambiance Mall and had waited 25 minutes in the parking queue and this frustrated us and we simply stormed out of the mall and headed towards cross point in DLF Phase – 4. Parking was a cake walk and we took the lift to the 2nd floor and while moving around decided to finally eat at this place.

The place is so cute decorated like a European bistro with large paintings and pictures on the walls, and wall hangings made out of pasta. How creative, I thought and I saw the chef taking rounds and personally serving the customers, how sweet. The ambiance and the decor was very warm and welcoming and the rain outside made the place even brighter.

The waiters are sweet and recommend what you must have. The menu simply is divine with so many options to have any kind of pasta you have ever known or ever dreamed of. Service is quick and food is even more fantastic. It feels as though you are sitting in Rome or Milan on a road side cafe and enjoying your coffee with some great tasting pasta.

This is what we had –

> Chilled Melon and Mint - Ah! the watermelon clubbed withthe freshness of mint made my day. One of the nicest refreshing cooler's I have ever had. 4/5

> Cafe Crema - Beautiful looking drink served in a classy way, the chocolate in it makes it full of seduction. 3/5

> Ceaser Moderno - Classic Chicken Ceaser Salad, Awesome in taste and great in quantity - 4/5

> Grigliata Mista Grande - An awesome platter of meaty meats including prawns, fish, squid, mussles, sausages, lamb patty , grilled chicken, served on a bed of veggies and mashed potato. This platter is a non vegetarians delight. All meats cooked to perfection with the perfect seasoning and the juicynes intact. 5/5
